Comprehensive reopening plan included stakeholder input
While facing uncertainties of COVID-19, Menands Union Free School District approached the opportunity to have students safely return to in-person learning, as a communitywide undertaking. The federal and state government responded to the pandemic’s devastating economic impact with multiple stimulus packages.
Decisions on how to utilize the district’s stimulus money were made, in part, by community feedback from a survey and input from families at virtual forums and board meetings. Click here to read how the district allocated the funding.
