A proposed amendment to the district-wide safety plan is available here. A 30-day comment period on the amendment started on Dec. 9. Comments on the proposal can be made to Superintendent Jennifer Cannavo. The Board of Education will consider the amendment at its Jan. 12 meeting.  

Student athletes had a successful 2025 fall season during club action at the Menands school. Fifteen middle school students competed on the undefeated soccer team while eighteen students ran cross country, many of whom logged personal bests during the season.
